All right, welcome in to the Texas tailgate with Texas coach Tom Herman.

Tom, you are a great man for taking some time for our folks at Horns 24-7.

How are you doing today?

Doing good.

You know, we had player meeting, position meetings this morning so it was good to

jump in and out of those and you know check in on on our on our guys and players and and

learn a little football so i i have found in the last few weeks that that's kind of the best way to,

you know, really get to to see all of our players. You know, team meetings on Zoom, you know,

when you can only see 20 guys a page and you're trying to click, you know, 14 different pages is

difficult. So these position meetings have been a good way for,

for me as the head coach to, to check in on these guys. And then, uh, you know, at home, we're doing

great, to be honest with you. It's the, the one silver lining in, in all of this is the,

the family time that, that as a a coach will we'll never get back

you know and you know we've made the most of it we've had family dinners I think going on nine

straight days not nine straight nights now so that that part and we we have a game night after, we played, the fans might

like this. So we had Easter brunch delivered to us, and we all had Easter brunch out on the

patio. These last couple days of weather have been unbelievable.

And then we went inside and had three hours worth of old school Super Mario brothers and the four-player version. So we've got five in the family. So we all had to take turns being somebody,

but like literally three hours of Super

Mario brothers so that that was fun and you know we're making the most of it and everybody's

dealing with the same issues and so nobody's getting a competitive advantage, if you will.
