After the Longhorns went on a five-game winning streak, the momentum came to a halt last weekend when Texas fell to Oklahoma State 81-59 in the regular-season finale. Now Texas basketball faces a potentially do-or-die situation as the Longhorns make their way to Kansas City to face Texas Tech in the quarterfinals of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament this week. Most bracketology experts have Texas as a bubble team for the NCAA Tournament after stumbling to the Oklahoma State Cowboys in embarrassing fashion last weekend, so a win in the Big 12 Tournament can only help Texas' chances of nabbing a March Madness bid.
