So what I'm going to share are what Tick-Nott Hans calls the Five Remembrances.

And these are five things to keep in mind, five truths to remember that can guide a more

intentional, purposeful, and well-meaning life.

The first is, I am of the nature to grow old.

Second, I am of the nature to experience ill health.

Third, I am of the nature to die.

Fourth, all that is dear to me is of the nature to change.

So you might hear these and go, well, they don't exactly make me feel good.

It's not really positive psychology, and it's not very uplifting.
