0:14.7	ourselves to the Lord daily with you. Good morning, guys. Good morning indeed. We're picking up
0:18.7	with the new devotional on the Bible app titled Our Modern Warfare Part 2, which is of course

0:28.2	This one is all about the armor of God. And so we're super excited about it. There's a link
0:33.3	to it in the description if you guys want to fall along with us. And as always, I'm going to read
0:36.7	the scripture then Tori's going to pick it with a devote. Let's do it. The scripture is Ephesians
0:40.9	chapter 6 verses 10 through 14. And it says this, a final word, be strong in the Lord and in his
0:47.9	mighty power put on all of God's armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all
0:54.4	strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh and blood enemies, but against evil
1:00.0	rulers and authorities of the unseen world against mighty powers in the stark world and against
1:05.7	evil spirits in the heavenly places. Therefore put on every piece of God's armor so you will be
1:12.3	able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle, you will still be standing firm.
1:18.8	Stand your ground putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God's righteousness.
1:24.2	The devotional is titled belt of truth. And it says this, I have never witnessed someone
1:30.2	carelessly throwing a hazmat suit on and then jump into the middle of a chemical spill.
1:36.3	The hazmat suit is only effective when it's put on correctly and in its entirety.
1:43.2	Wearing half of the hazmat suit would be reckless and dangerous. What good would the suit even
1:49.3	be if it wasn't worn in its entirety? This is how we should look at our spiritual armor.
1:56.0	Paul instructs us two separate times to make sure we are wearing all of our armor so we can
2:02.3	resist our enemy and stand strong. The belt of truth is the foundation for the rest of our armor
2:10.4	to stand on, providing strength and stability. The truth Paul refers to is God's truth.
