The college football playoff rankings come out, and four big 12 teams were ranked.

Got to be honest, I'm pretty surprised by that.

You had the Oklahoma Sooners come in at

number nine. You had Baylor at number 12, and then it was Kansas State up at number 16. Kudos to the

Wildcats, higher rank than they were in the AP poll. And then Oklahoma State at number 23.

The only three-loss team in the top 25 is Oklahoma State, which to me is a good sign for

the Big 12. If you look at Oklahoma State's schedule to this point, it's been up and down, right?

We talked a couple of weeks ago. It looked like the Cowboys season was falling apart.
