Today, we're going to begin our brief series of looking at some of the more important

Old Testament prophecies of the promised and long awaited Messiah.

We're going to begin with the very first promise of the Old Testament of the coming Messiah.

It's a promise that is somewhat veiled in mystery and has engendered no small amount

of debate and controversy.

But it is significant because it's called the first messianic promise of the Old Testament.

And sometimes it's called the proto-PROTO Evangel.

EVANGEL, which simply means the first gospel.

Or sometimes it gets even a little bit more technical and it's called the proto-A1Galion.
