Snap is California is birdie.

Right outside I window right now, you can see this thick haze.

It's a warm face mask and you can stare at the sun in the middle of the day.

Looks like a dark moon.

And it used to be the California had something called a fire season.

Now, that fire season is all year long and we wanted to tell a story that gave at least

the glimpse of living in this type of vortex.

So in collaboration with KQD's podcast The Bay, we teamed up to create a story for the

coal and ice festival.

It's an environmental collaboration that's meant to amplify the conversation around climate

change.
