First up, Trump’s so-called "Big, Beautiful Bill"—a budget plan so lopsided it should come with a warning label: May cause nausea, especially for the poor and working class. Hate? Funded. Housing, healthcare, and hope? Not so much. But don’t worry, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries is out here doing overtime trying to delay the mess long enough for someone to read it… maybe.

Meanwhile, justice showed up with receipts: a federal judge blocked Trump's move to shut down asylum claims at the southern border. Take that, cruelty-as-policy. And in Wisconsin, the state Supreme Court finally did what 175 years of bad law couldn’t—strike down that archaic abortion ban. Somebody get the champagne and the petitions.

Then we break down the strange bedfellows drama that is Trump vs. Elon, which feels less like politics and more like a sleepover fight about who gets the top bunk. Threats of primaries, deportation, and bad vibes are flying—and it’s extremely unserious.

Oh, and Paramount just dropped $16 million to settle Trump’s lawsuit, proving that even Hollywood knows it’s cheaper to pay up than to hang out with MAGA.

And finally, while floods, fires, and disasters rage, folks across the country are asking, “Where is FEMA?” But apparently, FEMA ghosted—and the Trump administration’s not returning calls either.
