I feel it, man. I'm going to miss games, but I do like the offseason. Football never goes away.

We're going to be talking football 365 on this podcast. And unlike in years past where there was like hiatus time, I'm not going to take hiatus now that I got the rant back.

We'll be rolling at least two episodes a week throughout the entire offseason,

except the weeks that I have vacations. Even then for the summer vacation, a lot of times I

still will get some pods in because I work ahead. But anyway, I do have a couple things I wanted to get to before we

preview these games very quickly today. Obviously, you know it's a short podcast, but I would

be remiss to not at least mention the head coaching hirings that have happened. And next week,

since we'll have a little bit of time, and we may have all of the jobs filled by then, at least the head coaching jobs, I'll do a coaching carousel episode.

So we'll talk a little bit more in depth about Mike Vrable, Ben Johnson. But in the meantime,

since we've last spoken, we obviously now have Aaron Glenn hired as the Jets head coach.

The Jags end up getting Liam Cohn, and that is quite a story.

And the Raiders, how about it, hiring Pete Carroll.

Now, he doesn't step into the best situation, but we connect the dots already.

Could Russell Wilson be the Raiders quarterback next season? That would be pretty interesting. And hey, the stars in line for that

one. But when you look at the AFC West, Pete Carroll is joining Andy Reid, one of the greatest

coaches of all time, Sean Payton,
