Summary
When she was sixteen, she spent the night at a friend's house that sat in the middle of a cemetery. Her friend's father was the caretaker, and because of the unusual location, everyone in town always asked the same question: was the house haunted?
Her friend always said no.
Late that night, while crossing the family room on the way to the bathroom, Lacey glanced out the window and noticed someone standing among the graves. At first, she tried to explain it away. Then she looked back.
The figure was gone. The next morning, she finally mentioned what she'd seen, expecting her friend to laugh it off.
Instead, she learned something that has bothered her ever since: She wasn't the first overnight guest to report seeing someone standing in that exact spot.
