Summary
In life, it's a fight to maintain your stance in harsh circumstances. Jesus persevered to the cross despite all of the opportunities that He had to get offended. Yet, instead of choosing offense, He continued to the cross. He came to be crucified for our offenses. In this life, we must make a conscious decision to manifest Jesus in the good times, so we can also manifest Him in the tough times of our lives. This is the fight of faith. | To learn more about Todd White and the ministry of Lifestyle Christianity, visit lifestylechristianity.com. Am I going to die? I said, kind of. I've been working with him and pouring into him. I'm the only one, he's calling me because I went through the whole drug addiction thing. So he's calling me. So the guy, that night, it flips off. It was amazing. I just kept telling him who he was. He would tell me what he did and I'd tell him, this is not who you are, this is who you are. And I would go after the reality of his identity, pouring it into him. So he goes, man, he goes, would you possibly maybe come and visit me sometime? So ended up, I was out at, in Reading, they were doing a, at Bethel, they were doing a leadership advance. And it was the year we had a killer snowstorm in all the airports in the East Coast, like we just had other ones this year, but they were shut down, |
| 2:01.1 | so I couldn't get back. I was supposed to come back for two days, spend two days with my family, then I was going to fly over. So he went and he flew my whole family over. So my wife and my kids, we got to fly over there and hang out with him, fresh out of addiction, like he's just brand new. So I'm pouring into him and it's on my heart to pour into him and his wife because I need their marriage to be solid because that's what covenant looks like. So I want to pour into people's marriages. I want their husband, wife thing to be so solid because that that's the picture of covenant and that needs to be strong because it's the thing that the enemy goes after. So I'm going over there, we go over the first time, and it's an amazing time. He's got a lot of work to be done. You know, a lot of pouring into him. He's free from drugs, but it's a, it's pouring into him. It's, it's fathering him and going after the reality of who he is. So I go by every three months or four months, I'm flying back to spend time just with him, not to go preach, just to spend time with him, just to maintain this thing. It was weird, like my wife, when I met her, he lived right beside her. Like they grew up beside each, it was the craziest thing. And I'd never met this guy before. |
| 3:08.3 | And now all of a sudden he's in my life. And when he first met me, he hated me, |
| 3:11.4 | he couldn't stand me, didn't want to be around me because I was a freak, you know. And |
