And oh my God, I am having a moment because you, dear listener, are going to experience history. We are joined by

two powerhouse guests who have been leading the fight for trans rights and gender liberation

for decades. You may have seen both of their names in the news last week. Joining me today

from New York City is Chase Strangeo, co-director of the ACLU's LGBT and HIV project,

who just became the first openly trans attorney to argue a case before the Supreme Court.

Chase, oh my God, much gracias for everything that you do, Chase.

So both of our guests today have been in the news this past week. Last week, Chase,

you made history as the first trans attorney to argue a case before the Supreme Court in a landmark

case challenging Tennessee's ban on gender affirming care for trans youth.

Now that same week, Raquel, and if you're on Instagram, which I am, you were seeing this

everywhere, right? You were arrested with 15 other activists on Capitol Hill after you staged

a sit-in in a woman's bathroom across from the offices of

House Speaker Mike Johnson.
