Hollywood star Idris Elba recently announced he'll soon be relocating to Africa.

I'm a guy boy, so I like my son. I like the heat. I like my food.

I'm here to bolster the film industry. That is a 10-year process. I won't be able to do that from overseas.

The British actor, who has heritage from Ghana and Sierra Leone, is not the only one. In recent years,

there has been a reverse migration movement among people of African descent, especially from

the US and Europe, who have decided to move back to the continent.

Nur Abida has recently presented a documentary for BBC Africa-I.

It's called The Homecoming, where she met several second-generation French nationals

who decided to relocate to Senegal.
