Last month, the Biden administration extended the federal pause on student loan repayments

for a fourth time.

Repayments that were supposed to restart yesterday may first now won't kick in for another

four months until August 31st.

On the meantime, on Thursday, President Biden gave the clearest indication yet that

he's strongly considering another boon for borrowers, who also happened to be voters.

I am considering dealing with some debt reduction.

I am not considering $50,000 debt reduction, but I'm in the process of taking a hard look

at whether or not there are going to be additional debt forgiveness.

And I'll have an answer on that and there's a couple weeks here.

Bloomberg is reporting that the Biden administration is considering wiping out $10,000 in student

loan debt per person via executive action.

The Washington Post recently reported that the administration is looking at limiting

relief to lower and middle income earners.

While it was told, it could result in a cancellation of roughly $245 billion in student loan

debt, that's out of the $1.7 trillion of debt collectively owed now.

Okay, we could spend the hour debating whether or not cancellation is a good idea, who should

qualify, how much should be canceled, etc, etc, etc.

And we have actually done that before on this show.

But today, we're going to talk about something different.
