Actually, he's still a dean, but an incoming college president. He is Bradley J. Lingo, currently at Regent, but soon to go to Grove City College. He earned his law degree from Harvard, and he practiced law for several years before joining the faculty of Regent University

incoming president of Grove City College. He joins us to discuss some of the issues faced

by smaller Christian colleges generally, but also particularly relative to public funding, an especially important issue at the current time. Welcome, soon to be President Lingo.

Thanks for having to me, Mark. All right. Well, higher education, as we know, and the Trump administration are much in the news, as I said, and the general issue is federal support for higher education, with the Trump administration going after Harvard and other elite universities because of their refractory position regarding some of his executive orders.

Now, Grove City College, maybe some of our listeners know about this, but I bet most don't

that Grove City actually has an important historical place in the issue of federal support.

went all the way to the United States Supreme Court

Bell. And after that case, Grove City took the hard path that chose faith and freedom over

federal funds and decided to operate without the benefit of a federal taxpayer dollars. So it's been

interesting, from my perspective, to watch what's played out between Harvard and the federal government.
