Welcome to our daily rosary meditation. Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen. Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for. Today is the feast of St. Maximilian Colby.

Teresa, I would say Colby is my favorite saint.

Now, Colby was born the second son of a poor weaver in 1894 in Poland.

He was an intelligent boisterous and extremely independent child.

At nine his mother cried out in exasperation,

And soon after, Colby changed completely, so completely that his mother pressed him for a reason.
