Welcome to our daily rosary meditation. Let's begin in the name of the Father and the

son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Let's call to mind all those we've promised to

pray for. Today is the feast of the Apostles Peter and Paul. Now the Acts of the Apostles is about these two men.

The first half of Acts is primarily dedicated to Peter and the second to Paul.

Both gave their lives to evangelization.

And since we carry the same obligation to spread the faith and build up the church, it's probably a good idea to consider how these

two first great missionaries did it.

Now we tend to think of evangelization as something for the professionals.

Well, at the time of Peter and Paul, there were no professionals.

Peter was a fisherman and Paul made tense, but Peter and Paul didn't think of it in the way we do.

They were constantly evangelizing.

That was what they did because it was who they were.

They were Christians, saved and chosen by Christ.

In a real sense, in their minds minds there was nothing about them except that and for

Peter and Paul there was nothing for them to do and nothing for them to talk

about except that which related to the Lord.

Now when your whole life everything is wrapped up in one thing, one idea, one person, how can you keep yourself from talking about it?

How can the people around you not know about it. Our father who art in heaven, hollow would be your name,

thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us to stay our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,
