0:00.0	Welcome to our daily Rosary meditation. Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
0:04.7	Amen. Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.
0:09.0	Today we celebrate the feast of Saint Mother Teresa. Born in Albania in 1910, Mother Teresa entered
0:19.7	the Sisters of Loreto in 1928. She served in Bengal, India as a teacher for girls from wealthy families. However, in
0:31.3	1942 she made a vow to give to God anything he might ask and not to refuse
0:38.2	him anything.
0:41.0	Then on Tuesday, September 10, 1946, on a Tuesday, September 10th, 1946, on a train bound for Darjeeling, she had a mystical
0:49.4	encounter with Christ. She saw a big crowd of people who cried out to her, come,
0:56.9	come, save us, bring Jesus to us. And then she heard the voice of Jesus pleading with her. Come, come, carry me into the
1:09.4	holes of the poor. Come be my light.
1:14.6	This double invitation from the crowd of poor and from Jesus echoed with her the rest of
1:21.9	her days.
1:23.0	At first though, she hesitated because right then she had a stable safe and pretty comfortable life.
1:32.0	However, again, Jesus spoke to her with words that cut her to the heart.
1:37.9	He said to her,
1:40.3	You have come to India for me. The thirst you had for souls brought you so far.
1:47.0	Are you afraid to take one more step for your spouse? For? Am I second to you? You did not die for souls? That is why you don't care what happens to them.
2:06.0	Your heart was never drowned in sorrow, as it was my mother's.
2:11.0	We both gave our all for souls. And you, you are afraid that you will
2:20.1	lose who you think you were and that you will be wanting in perseverance, but it's not true.
2:29.5	Your vocation is to love and suffer and save souls and by taking this step you will fulfill my
2:38.5	heart's desire and that is your vocation.
