Would you turn to the book of Psalms, please?

Psalm 34.

We've been on a series for a number of weeks now that we're calling the fear of the Lord.

The fear of the Lord.

And the more we get into it, the more I see that it is the Lord's direction.

And timely.

He knows what we need when we need it.

And if you've read the scriptures much,

you have come across the phrase,

the fear of God, the fear of the Lord.

And I think that in our circles, word of faith circles,

some folks have been a little bit standoffish with that

just simply because of the word fear.

Because we have learned that God didn't give us a spirit of fear.

Right? And so we have learned that God didn't give us a spirit of fear, right? And so we have been taught wonderfully and learned to resist fear and give fear no place and how that fear your fears will come on you.

I mean, we've heard a lot about that and that's good. But you've got to rightly divide.

All the scriptures are true and they don't contradict. And so what does it mean the fear of God?

We know from the context that's a good thing. And so we need some mind renewal.

Right?

How many want to learn about the fear of God?

We want to know what God wants us to know about this

and walk in it in a way that honors him and pleases him.
