Our theme today is the fear of rejection, and later on we'll be thinking about marriage

as we continue a series called Appreciation for Men.

And I want to assure you at the very beginning that I certainly hope I'm not coming across

with a critical spirit at all.

We are weak human beings.

And one of our weaknesses is that we don't like to admit our weaknesses.

And the Lord has to remind us in sometimes very painful ways of how weak we are in order
