Welcome to the Jesus Image podcast. This morning I want to speak about the manifested glory of God.

And how do you cultivate a place where the glory of the Lord dwells?

The scriptures are united in saying that this is the ultimate plan and desire of God.

When the prophet Isaiah saw the Lord in the temple, He saw seraphim flying around the Lord enthroned. And the

seraphim turned to one another and declared and shouted literally, the Hebrew says. And they shouted,

holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty and get this next portion.

The whole earth, the whole earth is filled with His glory.

What happened?

Isaiah stood into and stepped into eternity and he saw the future.

Habakkuk prophesied the same thing.

He says, there will come a time where the knowledge of the Lord will fill this earth

as the waters cover the sea.

What is he saying?

There will come a time that there will not be a single place and spot

in this earth where the glory of God is not manifested. Folks, this is what our heart longs for.

And I know this house is a place that honor the presence of God.

It has become a refuge for people that are troubled, for people that need the peace of God.

But God's desire is for that glory to dwell in our homes, for that glory to dwell 24-7 with us. And this morning for a few

moments, I want to speak to you about how to get to the place that the glory dwells in our land. What is the secret? How do you get to that place?

The early English Christians, when they were just converted, this is amongst the Celtic folk,

used to say this, they would say heaven and earth are not far away,

typically just six inches apart, but they would say they are thin places in the earth.
