Christ's command to his followers before his ascension to heaven was for them to be his witnesses in Jerusalem, all Judea, in Samaria, and to the uttermost part of the earth.

Our Lord did not intend for the good news of his death and resurrection to stay local, but

instead it was to be taken globally.

In this third section of Acts, the adventure continues as the gospel is taken to the ends

of the earth.

There is only one God and he is expressed in three persons, the triune God, the great three and one,

the thrice holy one. God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit,

co-equal, co-existent, co-eternal. And the beautiful truth is when you open scripture,

you get a glimpse of each member of the Godhead, and it helps you to know God. So when we returned Acts chapter 10 today to this gospel meeting that's going on in Cornias's

house, come on into his living room. Sit over in the corner and listen as Peter preaches the gospel

to him. See if you hear all three members of the Godhead and then watch all three members of the

godhead at work. Acts chapter 10 verse 34 then Peter opened his mouth and said of a truth I perceive

that God is no respecter of persons. By the way I would pause and say if he's not we shouldn't be

either. But in every nation he that feareth him and worketh righteousness is accepted with him.

Did you hear those words?

Every nation.

Sounds like the advancement of the gospel, doesn't it?

Sounds like the Great Commission Christ left his disciples.
