Hello and welcome to this interview with Ernst Van Zael, who is head of public relations at Afriforum,

and I think I've probably got to clear up because we've got a lot of people outside of South Africa

that might not be familiar with what Afri Forum is. So it was established as an independent initiative

in around 2006 of Solidarity, which is a predominantly Afrikaner trade union.

And I suppose Afriforum acts as a non-profit civil rights organization for Afrikaners.

Is that about right?

That's about right. That's more right than a lot of other people get, especially our opponents

and the people that try to smear us.

They completely missed the mark in regards to what we are and what our plans are.

It would help if they actually read our websites and all of the reports and things that we publish,

listen to some of the interviews that we do. I mean, we don't hide anything.

We spell out exactly what we are what we want to achieve

and what our mission is so the only real excuse for people out there to that are trying to claim that

they they have deciphered what afry forum and the solidarity movement is about when they get it wrong

they don't really have an excuse because it's all out there we literally make documentaries about

what our plan is.

But if you haven't necessarily heard of Afri Forum, you might have been seen on Twitter or now X,

I think it's called, as conscious Caracal. That's how I first encountered you, I think. So you're into it then, I suppose I'm going to ask a somewhat difficult question here,

which is how would you characterize the current state of governance in South Africa under the ANC,

which is a very broad question?

Well, Josh, I mean, in South Africa is definitely not for beginners. If this were to be
