I'm kind of in that fidgety stage in the middle of my work and progress

in which I'm inching closer to the end

while being uncertain of how strong the middle is.

I always feel like that somewhere in the middle of projects.

I love what I've done so far, I love where I'm going, but I'm chewing my fingernails while

wondering if the structure I have built will hold my weight as I stretch toward the finale.

Usually when I go back to read the segments that have me worried, I discover that all they

need are a few tweaks.

But even if they don't, at least I have confidence that the safety net of future

revisions are always there to catch me.

The excellent thing about being a writer is that you don't have to get everything right

in your first shot.
