In Sunday's Italian elections, the far right for Teletatalia, the brothers of Italy, led by Georgia Maloney, emerged as the

largest single party in the Italian parliament, achieving the best result ever for a party that is

directly descended from the neo-fascist MSI, the Italian social movement. I spoke with

historian David Broder about the election results, the history of the brothers and the MSI,

and why the far left achieve such a poor result with just over 1% of the vote.
