Nearly forty years ago, the Super Bowl Shuffle came into being. It's been haunting Jim McMahon ever since. But it's been blessing Kristyn and Mary Mack, so that's a net positive. The Vikings may also be doing their own shuffling in the near future judging by how many unexpected wins they've been getting.
In the first hour, SKOR North's Judd Zulgad talks about the Vikings upset win over the 49ers, and KSTP's Chris Egert on Rep. Tom Emmer being in play to be the new US Speaker of the House.
Hour #2 features a surprise call from the immensely talented Marie Osmond who will be making her soap opera debut on October 27th when she stars in CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful".
In hour #3 we've got a packed studio with Kristyn Burtt, Mary Mack, and Jim McMahon all at the same time. You may be wondering what a Hollywood reporter, a comedian, and a football legend have in common. The answer is: it doesn't matter. Like Frasier's apartment, it's eclectic. That means "good" in fancy talk, I think.
On the Family, we could talk about TV with Tim, and we do, but there's something more pressing to discuss first: the upcoming Vikings Super Bowl win. Hey, if the Bears could call it ahead of time and win, why can't we?
