Do you belong to a culture known for its food? Of course you do; they all are. And that's one of the best things about food. We all have our recipes, traditions, and rituals based around it. Justin Sutherland knows that more than anyone, belonging to several cultures himself.
In the first hour, SKOR North's Judd Zulgad talks about his athletic prowess...or the lack thereof, and KSTP's Chris Egert talks about the different locations he's worked during his career.
Hour #2 has Ed Begley Jr. join the show to catch up with Tom and discuss his new memoir titled "To the Temple of Tranquility...And Step on It" which details Begley's relationship with his father, adventures with Hollywood icons, how he got into environmental activism, and more!
In hour #3 we talk oldies and newies (is that a word?) with Kristyn Burtt. In this case "oldies" refers to shows like The Office. We're very modern-minded people. Justin Sutherland stops in with an unforeseen connection to the family itself.
On the Family, Justin teaches us the true meanings of perspective and gratitude, and he does it by cooking. Needless to say, we're fans. If you want to cook like Justin - or at least somewhat like him - he happens to have a book called Northern Soul.
