And we made this point earlier, but I want to read this excerpt because this really caught my eye, is that I'll read the excerpt first.

So he says, quote, in distinct contrast to the limited warfare of the ancient regime, the ancient regime,

then the new era of democratic republican warfare, which began with the French Revolution and

the Napoleonic Wars, which is further exhibited during the 19th century by the American War of

Southern independence, and which reaches its apex during the 20th century with World War I and World War II and continues to the present is the era of total war.

All, I mean, that entire era of total war he just described was facilitated by fiat currency.

And this really caught my eye because again, when we're talking about blurring the lines between public and private property or violating private property rights, like that's all fiat currency inflation is.

But full stop.

It doesn't do anything else except violate the property rights of those depending on it to hold value,

allocating those rights to those who can print the money effectively.

So it's like democracy itself has distorted this relationship, but fiat currency is just like gasoline

on the fire. And that's something that tends to happen more in democracies, I think. Although,

yeah, to be fair, like World War I, there were monarchies that were that were

inflating away. And usually that that was a tool that they felt like they needed to use

because the other side was using it. And that was the only way they can really keep up.

But getting back to this earlier point about, you know, total war, you know, it is enabled largely

by some sort of like ideological reason, right, which is more endemic to democracies and

via money, which does tend to happen more in democracies.

But I think the God thing definitely is there too.

Like there's a reason I think he chose the French Revolution because that was the first sort

of like atheist regime.

And we saw the reign of terror, like just beheadings left left them right, and killing of all sorts of people.
