Starting with the sackings.

So, Julian Smith, the Northern Ireland secretary, he's gone.

Which was a bit of a surprise, right?

It was. It was. That was initially the big moment of the day.

He's helped to restore Parliament in Stormont after three years of it being suspended.

It was a major moment. No one expected that.

He did what so many Northern Ireland executives couldn't do.

Yeah, they haven't been able to do it.

So everyone was surprised.

That was the big story for about five minutes before everything exploded.

But other than Julian Smith, Andrew Ledson, the business secretary, she's gone.
