He spent 37 years working in the Republican Party

as a Stafford candidate elected official and State Party Chairman.

The rise of Donald Trump, of course, an historic destruction and transformation of the Reagan night Republican Party he knew has not only thrown him but all of us into a tizzy but he has a way out he has a response to that and we want to talk about that.

Unfortunately, he left, you know, he left the party in 2017,

but he's still fighting for the party today.

He's now an independent, never conservative actively trying to build an alternative to our current two party system and he is the author

The new book The fall of the Shining City, what happened to the Republican Party, why it happened, and what must happen right now to save American democracy.

And so I thought it was important to talk to someone who I had the pleasure of working with when he was the chairman of the state party in Washington and I was at the R and see and going back to even when I was a state Party chairman here in Maryland,

and someone who knows, and someone who's written,

I think an important book to help put in the context,

not just what's happened to the party, but what the fight at hand is really about and what it needs to look like in order for us to begin to answer the question,

will the Republican Party emerge on the other side of Trump is?
