we're talking about the fall guy the 2024 action romantic comedy

loosely based on the old 1980s action TV series the fall guy by starring Lee Major. This version is directed

by David Leach. Might have heard of him.

He's got a little franchise called John Wick to his name.

It stars Ryan Gosling, what a dream boat.

Emily Blunt, speaking to dream Boats, Hannah Waddingham, Stephanie Sue, and Winston Duke of

M Baca fame from Black Panther and also us.

Yeah, I had a really fun time at the movies and tonight and between this and the Henry of ungentlemanly cavils I think this summer is off to a really fun action start

How did you find the fall guy?

I think there is, well it shouldn't really even be a surprise with this David Leach guy.

I think there's a really good awesome love letter to Stuntman. I don't know if you

had the beginning, the opening thing where they did. Him and Ryan Gosling come on and say this is a love letter to stunt men.

I felt that throughout the movie.

This really felt like it dug into everything about a stunt person's life that, you know,

it doesn't get talked about. like the fact that there's no

Oscar for putting your life on the line isn't that crazy doing amazing stunt right I

guess I'd never realize that they didn't have I thought it was assumed as a technical

board that they were showed on TV but that's the thing I mean it's they're

invisible right and they're kind of meant to be invisible and like that they

there's commentary all over the place on that and I really felt like there was a strong a strong actions stunt person type movie in this and then they piled the romcom stuff on it and look I'm biased I'm not into romcom's in general
