Welcome to our Wednesday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

Today I'm in the middle of my second week teaching on the faith of God.

And I just wrote this little booklet, it's about 20 pages long, just summarizing this teaching about the faith of God.

This is one of the very first things that God ever showed me and it has been a foundational truth in my life.

Most people don't understand that we don't just put faith in God, God literally gives us His supernatural faith.

And people look at the results in their life and they think, well I don't have His supernatural faith because they're just looking at what's not being produced.

But the truth is if you're born again, you couldn't get born again without God giving you His supernatural faith.

Human faith can't believe for salvation. You were given a God kind of faith and you have the same quantity and quality of faith that Jesus had because it is the faith of God that you're using.

Paul said in Galatians 2.20 that the life that he lived, he lived by the faith of the Son of God, not just faith in the Son of God but the faith of the Son of God.

And that's radical. When I saw that, that just lit my fire. It meant that I had the same potential that Peter had, that Paul had, that Jesus had.

And Jesus even said, barely, barely, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do, shall he do also, and greater works than these shall he do because I go into my Father.

But Jesus Himself said that we would do the same works. Why? Because we have the same power. We have the same faith. You were given God's faith.

So that begs the question, if that's true, well then why aren't I seeing things happen? Because faith is governed by law.

And I spend a number of days trying to emphasize this and make comparisons between the natural laws that govern things like electricity and the laws that govern spiritual things like faith.

And in the natural realm we've come to recognize that we can't violate the laws. You don't have electricity in your house just naturally. You have to put wiring in there. You have to hook it up to the power grid. You have to make an agreement with the power company.

And there's things that you have to do. If a person built a house and didn't put any wiring in it and didn't hook it up to the electric company, then they wouldn't be upset when they flip a switch and no light comes on.

They know it's because I'm not hooked up. But people just, they don't hook into the power of God and cooperate with the laws of God. And they flip the switch and nothing happens and they wonder, well why did God fail?

God didn't fail. He doesn't fail. You've got to learn how to draw on that power. There are laws that govern how faith works.

Man that's awesome. And you know I've been using this example of electricity. The power company generates the power. You hook into the power company. You have an agreement with them. But when you want the electricity turned on, you don't call the power company.
