0:16.5	But before we begin, we want to lead with the very latest on the conflict between Israel
0:21.2	and Hamas.
0:22.8	Late Thursday evening, the United Nations said that Israel has ordered the evacuation
0:27.1	of northern Gaza, where more than 1 million people live.
0:30.7	The area includes Gaza City, the largest municipality in the territory.
0:35.7	They have 24 hours to move to the southern end of Gaza, which you and official say will
0:40.4	lead to, quote, devastating consequences.
0:43.8	It's not clear whether this is the beginning of the ground offense that Israel has been
0:48.4	gearing up to launch, but we will be following this closely in the days ahead.
0:53.2	Over six days of Israeli air strikes, over 300,000 Palestinians in Gaza have been displaced
0:59.1	from their homes so far.
1:00.8	The strikes have also hit schools, mosques, and hospitals.
1:04.5	And because of the blockade of the Gaza Strip, hospitals are running low on fuel for generators,
1:09.6	as well as beds for the thousands of people who have been wounded.
1:13.0	According to the Gaza Health Ministry, Israeli air strikes have killed over 1,400 Palestinians
1:18.1	and injured over 6,200 more in these six days since they began.
1:22.7	The air strikes came in response to the attacks on Israel by Hamas on Saturday that killed
1:27.1	over 1,200 people in Israel, including 27 Americans, according to the U.S. State Department.
