Luke chapter 15, verse number one, I'm going to jump in to the reading for the sake of time.

If you're new to our church or you haven't been to church in a while, we are in the middle of a series called True Values. And really what we're talking about is, you know, with everything going on in London and Paris and politics, culture, social media, we're really trying to decide as a community and as people, how should we live?

What should we value?

What should we build our families on, our businesses on, our life's upon?

Do we need to make a new set of values, or can we go just to what God has always valued? I want to tell you, if you're new to our church, if it matters to

God, it matters to us. If it's God's value, then it's our value. And the reason why we serve L.A. is because God loves L.A and the reason why we serve LA is because God loves LA

the reason why we open the word of God is because God has given us the word of God and I don't know

about you but I'm thankful today we don't have to reinvent or recreate a bunch of values but we can

just ask God what to value and he can show us come on on, if you're thankful today for the value of God's

word and the truth of who he is, come on, don't give me a little church clap. We are a loud church.

Come on, make some noise in the 12 o'clock if you believe in the values from God. By the way, we are a loud

church. Say yeah. And so feel free to clap and shout. If it gets good, stand up, do the stank face. No, you didn't. And we're going to have fun in church. So I'm going to read together here out of Luke 15, one of our greatest values, and that is the value of grace. I want to talk today about grace and how it applies to your life,

how it applies to all of our lives, and what God wants to say to us as a community about grace.

This is Luke chapter 15. Jesus, now you've got to know this about Jesus. The Gospels only

mentioned the word grace four times.

None of these four times, it is Jesus talking about grace. It's someone else. In fact, if you were to ask what kind of preacher Jesus was, Jesus was a law preacher. Jesus actually not preach the law, but he would actually go against the law. He would say, you know, your law says this, but I say this. You say the law says this, but I'm here to dispel it,

flip it on his head and say this. In fact, the gospel of grace didn't really come and tell

the Apostle Paul. Paul the Apostle gives us all these letters. He writes Romans,

1st and 2nd Corinthians, 1st and 2nd Thessalonians. He wrote the book of Ephesians that we study.
