On a spring afternoon in March 1991, Tina Connelly stood on a street corner in Oak Cliff,

batting her eyes. They were big and beautiful, and the 20-year-old used them to attract clients.

So when one of her regulars pulled up and invited her into his car,

she knew they had worked again. Tina slipped into the passenger seat.

Her John was one of her regulars and older man named Charles.

As he drove towards their regular spot, he talked about his family and work as a carpenter.

He was a nice polite guy and always paid well.

When they arrived at the field, Charles liked to use for their business.

He asked for oral sex, like he always did. But as Tina was working,

Charles pulled on her hair, something he normally didn't do. It was rough and hurt,

like he was angry and taking it out on her. Tina was a little nervous. It was
