0:27.0	Welcome to the paranormal podcast. I'm Jim Harold. So glad to be with you once again.
0:32.0	And happy new year everybody and I hope it has been a great start to
0:35.8	the new year for you and that you had a blessed holiday season. You may hear a little
0:40.9	tinge in my voice. It was not the best holiday season for me and my family.
0:45.5	We all got sick.
0:46.7	I got sick the day before Christmas Eve, was sick through the whole break, the sickest I've
0:50.9	been in a long time, but I am on the mend. I'm probably about 90% right now.
0:57.3	And my family is still in the throes of illness. So, you know, nobody, you know, is in the hospital nothing like that so we
1:06.4	have to be thankful and it's only uphill from here but I hope that you're
1:11.1	having a much better new year that that we've been having so far
1:14.6	and today we're going to have an interesting show in part one we're going to talk
1:19.6	with Joseph Laicock about the Exorcist effect and really the far-reaching history and
1:26.8	implications of that movie. And then in part two we're going to have a segment that I certainly wish were not necessary,
1:36.1	but I feel it is necessary.
1:38.0	This past December we lost the great Ian Punnet, who had been a host of Coast to Coast AM for many years and I think
1:48.1	that Ian knew that I was a big fan of his work I shared shared that with him. I interviewed him a couple of times and we actually talked on the phone over the summer and he was just so nice to me and we did not want to let this situation pass without giving Ian a big nod.
2:07.1	And also I'm going to replay in the second half of this show.
2:10.1	An interview I did with him almost 10 years ago back in 2014 and let the man speak for himself
2:16.0	because he had a lot of wisdom and he brought a lot of insight, a lot of entertainment, a lot of information to many, many millions over the years
