Life from Liverpool, the Dark Paranormal, Season 11.

Hello everyone and welcome back to the Dark Paranormal Season Finale of Series 11.

Wow, it truly feels like this season has just flown by.

Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who submitted their experience for this season,

and also a heartfelt and huge thank you to each and every one of you

for making this podcast such a safe space for people to share their true paranormal experiences.

The show is called the Dark Paranormal for a reason. We don't deal with the nicer elements of

the paranormal. Ghost pets or loved ones saying goodbye. We're not disputing they take place.

What we are saying is when a darker story happens, for some reason some people find them

much more difficult to believe. Perhaps it's just more palatable to hear a story about little

snowy running between your legs than it is to hear about a black, shapeless mass throwing you

down the stairs. And that's why I love doing this show and I love each and every one of you

for making this place somewhere people can share these encounters.

For me it is and always has been the case that if you believe that your great auntie is stood at

the end of your deathbed waiting to take you to the other side then you also have to believe

that something much more malevolent could be waiting in the corner of your bedroom

watching you sleep, waiting to strike. You can't dip your toe in, you can't pick and choose

what you believe in the paranormal. It's like water. You can't deny the existence of ice cold

water because you prefer a nice warm bath. Although it's saying it's kind of disappointing that

I need to state we need to leave our disbelief at the door. I choose to say that because for some

of these experiences they go well above and beyond your average ghost story. Don't get me wrong

there are places for the stories of past on loved ones just saying hi but we don't cover them here
