Let's say someone's listening to this and they're like okay like I understand I got to pick an audience and all that stuff and you know I understand I understand I need to make content like what are the first steps that they need to do?

Yeah, so I mean the first step truly is to do research, right?

Okay, go, by research what I'm referring to is go find your competitors and go look through their content

and figure out what they're doing that's working and what they're doing that can fall into kind of your lane and that you're trying

and direction you're trying to go in right because one thing about content

creation is you don't we know what works yeah so you don't have to keep reinventing and get extremely creative on how you create content.

So you're saying everyone should go out and copy someone else?

The word copy I don't use, right?

Because I don't, I don't believe in mimicking other individuals

creativity. One, you'll never be as good as that creator. Yeah, right? Like I see it all the time

where people are doing the Ryan Panay the hands when they're talking,

or the podcast starts the exact same way his starts

and ends the kind.

Like I see all that all the time,

and it just, it feels unauthentic.

You gotta be authentic to who you are,

but you should draw influence from what other people are doing.

Yeah.

So for me, a good example, when I do my podcast, there's individuals that I watch that I'm like,

okay, I like how he asked that question.

Yeah. How could I ask a similar question to a guest and related to what my audience would want to see?

Right, I'm not mimicking, but I am pulling inspiration from what other people are doing.
