Rita was born in a city in Pakistan called Islamabad, a city popularly known as a city

A city with a spread of natural terraces and summer green meadows, she had the best

We lived at my grandfather's house, like my maternal grandfather's house.

And I remember we had rabbits in our house and I was really little, my mom told me I was

So when my dad was there, he got us like pet rabbits.

And when he had to go back to Canada, we had to give our rabbits away.

Growing up, I always knew that Pakistan was not home.

My dad was never there because he was either in US or he was in Canada.
