This is Holy Family School of Faith.

Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

I am blessed to be this evening with a bunch of wonderful young adults

with City on a hill and we are at a convent where five guys live.

It's actually an old convent that five guys live at.

And we've been having some good conversation and now we're going to

pray the Rosary together so let's begin in the name of the Father and the

son and the Holy Spirit. Let's call to mind all those that we've promised

to pray for. And let's also offer all of our rosaries joined together for the value them both

amendment in the Kansas legislature. We need four more votes. And we also

offer this rosary for all those who have been submitted to the intention list for their deeper conversion and

holiness. Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Our first meditation,

with this meditation we're beginning to series on the virtues. Virtue is the perfection of the human person.

It takes far more to become an excellent human than to have great intelligence or a strong

will to get stuff done, or even great passion and empathy.

Let's take King Solomon for example. Solomon had an amazing

intellect, maybe one of the smartest guys who ever lived. He also had a strong

will. He got a lot accomplished. But Solomon never harnessed his

passions which had led him to be enslaved to his desire for power, wealth, and

women. Seven hundred wives and and 300 concubines, and these turned his heart away

from God to the worship of Satan hidden behind the pagan gods of Mullock and Ashtaroth, to whom he offered child sacrifice and burned his sons.
