Once upon a time there was a girl named Dana Scully, a skeptic and a medical doctor with

a closet full of shoulder pads.

And a boy named Fox Malder, a believer and a psychological profiler who was always

keeping an eye out for the extraterrestrial.

Back in 1993, they teamed up for two reasons.

To solve cases too weird and wild for the normies of the FBI and to look great doing it.

And now here we are, 30 years later, diving into the series together.

I grew up watching the X-Files win at air, but Kristen has only ever seen the pilot episode.

It was hot.

is actually spelled EX-Files.

Right, right, that's X-Files with an E because in addition to being longtime podcasting partners

we also used to be married to each other.
