So nice to have you here today. I am really excited about

today's episode. As you can see from the title, we're talking about handbags, it bags, stuff

for status. I was really excited to put this episode together because in a sense, it kind of feels

like going a little bit back to my roots. I feel like I'm presenting a thesis today. But overconsumption

and handbags and looking back at fashion history, I feel like is truly the culmination of all my

interests, really what it means to be eco-cheek. I feel like this is a perfect episode to share with

y'all as a solo because it is something that I'm deeply interested in,

and I feel like it's something that we can all easily research and go down these little rabbit

holes on our own. So I feel like this is going to be a really fun episode. I am not a fashion historian,

of course, by any means, but I am someone who deeply appreciates fashion, who really enjoys
