So the outrage of the day the week the month is this astonishing event at Princeton University

where the highly respected philosophy professor, the tenured professor Joshua Katz has been

fired despite the fact that tenured rules almost make this impossible has been fired supposedly

for trying to compel a student with whom he had had a consensual relationship almost two

decades ago in the initial efforts to investigate this relationship to not to release information

about it to the university.

This is a relationship for which Katz has already been punished.

He was actually suspended for a year without pay.

Even though it was not any kind of a criminal violation she was in her majority, but it was

some kind of violation of Princeton's own rules.

And so he took his punishment and served out his sentence and lost a year salary.

And then in 2020 he objected in a piece of colette to anti-racism efforts in the wake of

George Floyd's killing.
