Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.

It's wonderful to see so many of you here, particularly in the period of being up to the exams.

And the simple reason why so many of you are here is,

Testaments to our fantastic speaker today, Philip Allert, who is just a global superstar,

but one who hides his life somewhat under a bushel, and despite the wonderful text that he's written,

which you know and love, we don't see him that often under faculty, and so it's a

great honour and privilege to hear Philip's views on the UK and Europe, particularly on today

of all days when Nigel Larson, former Chancellor of the Exchequer, has announced that he thinks

that the UK should be the EU and would vote

according to the referendum.

So it was a solitary thing to wake up to this morning and hopefully Philip will offer us some words of comfort and inspiration.

He produced a hand-up that he's very keen for you all to have.

I think that one or two of you might not have copies.

How many are we short?

It's vital you have a copy.

So there is some more of being produced and it will bring them down very shortly.
