And this is something we have to really internalize in our study of the Quran.

Sometimes we study the Quran and we, you know, we, al-hahadulah, we have the culture of memorizing

the Quran, reciting the Quran.

But we don't have the culture of thinking about the Quran.

That's not in our culture.

And it's very, very unfortunate.

Because then our thoughts about Islam are based on everything else except the Quran.

The Quran is not shaping our thinking about what Islam is about.

And the irony of it all, the world was revolutionized by the coming of the Quran. And Islam spread because

the Quran came. The Quran was the, you know, the, the, the, the, the haq al-yqaikin. That's what

it's describing itself as. That's the great news.
