Okay, my friends, here is something, here is something you might not know about me.

I absolutely, I don't want to use the word hate, but detests dislike, avoid at all costs,

running errands. Oh, I hate running errands. I hate running errands. I hate having things to do

throughout the week that I need to take care of because I feel like I can't

completely relax until they are done. Now, I know that life necessitates errands, right? We have to

drop things off. We have to pick things up. We have to help other people out. We have to

stand in line sometimes. We have to drive here. We have to go out of our

way on occasion. I get it. But I wonder if part of simplifying our lives, having a lot more

white space in our calendar, and frankly, tuning into this frequency of doing less, not running ourselves ragged, I do have a bit of an unspoken policy around if it's going to require an errand, I'm generally going to avoid it.

I'm going to say no or I'm going to think twice.

So this happened to me recently when I was returning something to UPS. I am using this new service, Vivrel. It's like a luxury handbag rental.

I already rent the runway. Walking to UPS in the boiling sun in summer in Miami isn't my favorite thing to do.

So I'm weighing up in my mind whether or not I even need this service. If I don't, that's one

less errand. Here's another thing that I did a couple of years ago. I upgraded my nail salon so I don't have to go back

sooner. So typically if you get a regular manny-pedy, within a couple of weeks you need to get

another one. This place where I go, not too far from me, the manny-peddies last a long time.
