Welcome to Pantsuit Politics, where we take a different approach to the news.

School is starting, and we're going to talk about the chaos caused by staffing shortages,

and why we've made a decision to feel cared for by our school districts.

Also, we're going to talk about the climate, as you may have noticed, it's hot, so hot.

Which has huge implications for not only our climate, but lots of little implications for our culture,

and so we're going to talk about that too, the big and small implications of this intensity

and how it's going to change our future summers too.

It was really fun to see everyone interacting on Instagram around the debate.

It also means so much to us to hear that you trust us to watch it for you,

and save your blood pressure, or your time, as the case may be,

and interacting live, and then here on the show, really demonstrate how we approach the news,

to try to help you stay informed without being anxious, and that's why we do what we do.

And hearing you validate that is very, very rewarding, so thank you.
