Our host is the author of Heaven Rules, Nancy DeMasse Volkamoo. Well a trust that your resurrection Sunday celebration yesterday was joyful and

worshipful. He is risen. He is risen indeed. I love reflecting on the fact that Jesus didn't stay dead. He's alive and that changes everything.

The truth is really at the very heart of our hope, isn't it? Remember in 1st Corinthians

chapter 15, the apostle Paul walks us through a little mental exercise of what it would be like if the resurrection had not

happened. He says, if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins.

And those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.

He said, if in Christ we have hope in this life only,

we are of all people most to be pitied. But he says in fact Christ has been

raised from the dead the first truths of those who have fallen asleep. We too will be raised with Christ because he has

risen from the dead. Amen. Well today we're going to visit a grounded

podcast from a couple of years ago.
