0:34.8	Summer is rapidly losing its light and we're heading to the bleaker time of the year.
0:40.6	The time of year would see us think less about barbecues and sunscreen and more about pumpkins and bonfires.
0:49.0	I've always noticed the darkness seems to come in rapidly of an evening around this time
0:55.6	And before you know it, it's dark when you go into work and it's dark when you leave
1:01.2	It's strongly becoming its own season, within a season, and in this new season,
1:08.2	the interest in the paranormal increases on almost a global scale.
1:16.0	It's no coincidence that the darkness seems to trigger something deep inside us.
1:22.0	It hacks away at our modern skeptical rationality.
1:25.6	That makes even the most ardent skeptic take pause and say things like I'm sure I turn that light out or maybe I'll leave the whole
1:37.4	light on tonight. If you're listening to this show, it's a high probability you're of an adult age.
1:48.8	The age where your rationality serves you well. You don't have time to consider the other side. Not when there's bills to pay, kids
1:59.7	to feed, and every other responsibility you carry on your back day in, day out.

2:11.1	It's no coincidence as some of our previous true experiences have shown that children seem to feature in a high percentage of paranormal cases.
2:24.6	The innocent... percentage of paranormal cases. The innocence of youth, so to speak, allows them to approach things more openly.
2:31.2	They haven't been told such things as, oh, those knocks are just the house settling, or that
2:36.9	whisper, oh that's just the wind.
2:40.4	Instead, without any preconceived idea of what they're experiencing, they form their own pattern of truth.
2:50.0	And in turn, seem to create a pathway to the other side.
2:57.0	Often resulting in the rational adults they live with having no option but to face the uncomfortable belief-shaking fact
