0:29.0	It's a funny expression because scale makes it sound like the food is being measured
0:35.5	but that's not what she meant I guess yeah exactly she meant that the food was so
0:40.2	good that it can't be rated on a normal scale. So we use off the scale to say that something
0:46.5	goes beyond what is expected and it's usually used in a positive way. For example, an influencer said the restaurant around the corner serves
0:55.0	the most authentic Chinese food and since then bookings have been off the scale.
1:00.5	Ooh well maybe I should try and get in there then.
1:03.0	Here are some more examples of the scale.
1:06.0	Last week I went to see my local football team beating their closest rivals and the celebrations
1:16.5	were off the scale.
1:18.6	My boyfriend cooked me dinner yesterday and he made this amazing rose chicken.
1:23.0	It was delicious.
1:24.0	It was just off the scale.
